Day 11

Am new to this site, joined yesterday. Had TAH(supracervical) and RSO for uterine fibroids(3 huge ones, one posterior, one against my bladder, and one enveloping my R ovary). Had a uterine ablation 2 years ago to stop the hemorrhaging,but the fibroids kept growing. I am so relieved to have this done! I was terrified, but the actual process and recovery so far have been okay.

I am taking ibuprofen for discomfort and have no soreness. I am amazed, as I thought I would be much more sore. I am trying to pace myself. I live alone, and have some good friends helping, but not all the time.

I have been walking almost everyday, and am adjusting to having 'down time'. The worst thing have been the gas pains, but I take something for that and have been drinking ginger tea as a digestive

What great news! I'm so glad you're feeling well. Continue to rest, walk, drink lots of water and you'll keep getting better all the time. You're gas pains will probably stop in the next couple of days since you're just taking the Ibuprofen.
