I am so tired...

I am just over 5 weeks post op and still cannot sleep. I have not slept all night since the night before my surgery. I am so tired and trying to keep up with my everyday life is more challenging than ever. I snap at people all the time, I can't concentrate at my job and just don't have the energy to do anything. I have no problems falling asleep, it is just staying asleep that I cannot seem to do anymore. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it as I am just exhausted...

Re: I am so tired...

I have tried melatonin to help me sleep and worked well. I took the lowest mg that Walmart had. I tried using Unisom/generic Walmart form, but they just made me sick to my stomach. My mom told me it is nothing more than benadryl!! I hope you find something that works. Maybe talk to your doctor because Ambien or Lunesta works well as prescription sleep aids. I wish you the best. I really feel for you and totally understand what you are going through.
