3 weeks post hysterectomy...lots of pain

Im 3 weeks post op today and in lots of pain. Probably a 6 now. Im not sure if i did too much today. Im cramping, but no blood ? Any suggestions.

I had mine on the 29th and was having a great week, I felt more and more like myself until 3 am today, I woke up hurting so bad! I took a pain pill which I had been off of for over a week. Today I have just felt real tired and sore and then tonight wham the pain was back. I'm hoping I just had overdone it earlier in the week when I felt good. I haven't bled either but I haven't the entire time.

Thanks Moty79. I had mine on the 31st. Like you have been off pain pills for 10 days and like you ughhh in severe pain
I did do a lot more walking today. Hope you feel better. Have you had your post op office visit. I dont go until sept 2.

Mine was July 28th and in a lot of pain today, not quite pain pill level but dang I hurt level. Not sure if I over did it yesterday or earlier in the week or what, but yeah definitely hurting today. My post op is Wednesday the 26th.

I am in the same boat. I've felt relatively good for weeks but Thursday and Friday I felt like I got ran over by a truck. Lots of heavy cramps and bright red blood. I called the nurse and she said that the third or fourth week is when the internal stitches start to desolve and there could be some bleeding and cramps. She said to go to the ER if the pain level is 7 or higher or I fill a pad in an hour. I had to take pain meds and stay stationary. It's much better today. I've Just resign myself to having good and bad days for a while. I just have to remember that just because I feel good doesn't mean I can do everything right now.
