OMG...Surgery is the 21st and this morning I got up and have this huge burst of energy. I am in total nesting mode. Last week got back from a long vacation and had come down with a cold. I barely had the energy to catch up on all the laundry let alone clean house and cook. I started by making a list of what needs to get done and what I need to make plenty of meals to be cooked and frozen for my DH and DDs. Now all I want to do is clean the house from top to bottom. I wish I had this much energy and determination all the time

OMG... Me too. My surgery is on the 20th and I've been cleaning and re-arranging furniture, and cooking like crazy. My DH, DD and her husband will be here taking care of our DS, who is only 7. I'm trying to make sure that it is all in order for them while I'm out of pocket.

We have 3 grown and married, ages 26, 23, and 21, then our little blessing who as I said is 7 and in the first grade. I 'm so blessed to have the older ones pitching in and helping DH and the little guy. We are also hoping for reall cold weather the week after so my DH will be able to stay home and not take vacation. If it's not a certin temp he can't work.

Must be something about that week. I have been cleaning like a NUT! I have been busy. Shampooing carpets, washing the windows, making arrangements for my DD who is 9. Got girl scout meetings planned, I will miss cookie booths, but I kind of happy bout that.

I have 3 DDs (13,11,8) so I am trying to have everything as ready and as easy as possible for them. While my hubby is great and will always help they are all used to having most everything done for them. Asked DH if he realizes just how much he's going to need to help around the house, he claims he does but idk. I think it's going to be harder than any us realize.
