abnormal pap 5 months post op

so i had abnormal pap after hysterectomy and dr. said i probably wasn't healed and to recheck in 4 months. just rechecked. she also removed polyps at time of pap smear. got a call saying still abnormal pap and now i have to get colposcopy of vaginal cuff. what could this mean and anyone have similar situation?

Hi Rezzller....i do not know what it means for you. I was scheduled for my TAH because i had recurring dsyplasia. I had a leep done last year and my paps still came back abnormal. Hence the TAH. My Dr warned me that i would have to have paps/vag vaults done after my TAH to make sure it did not go into my vag walls. Please Please do not take what i am saying as what is happening to you!!! Have you had a colposcopy before?? I have heard that are cells can get "angry" sometimes and that shows as a abnormal pap but after further checks (colposcopy) it shows nothing wrong!!
