Day 8 Post-hysterectomy - pressure and bleeding
I have been doing so well. Today I have pressure and started bleeding. What does this mean? Should I call the doctor?

Some bleeding is normal but if it is soaking through a pad in 2 hours I was told to go to the ER. It never hurts to call the Dr and ask advice.

It never hurts to call. You'll probably get the nurse and they love to answer questions - at least they should! I am a nurse and I love doing patient education and reassuring people when they have questions/concerns. I always say, "Better to be safe than sorrry."
