BM Question Maybe TMI

Hi Ladies...

I know most of you have problems with not going to the bathroom enough, well i seem to be just the opposite, I go between 2-5 times a day, if I eat something greasy it is worse but I think that is due to my gallbladder removal last Nov.. I really thought after they got the Endo off my bowles it woud get better.. I am not really experiencing much pain anymore going but it is getting old.. I was hoping this would be over...

I had my gallbladder removed also, it took quite a long time before my body adjusted and I had "normal" BM's. It's been a year and a half and mine are still on the soft side minus this TAH recovery. You really have to watch fatty foods, often causes diarrhea.

Chardenay- Thank you so much for your response, I really thought it was my galbladder then findng the Endo on the Bowel hoped it was that... I know I should be thankful that I am not constipated...

BM Question Maybe TMI

Maybe we should start a hystersister/gallbladder removed club!! I too have loose bowels sometimes which I think in some ways is good at this time of recovery. I had my Gall Bladder removed about 21/2 years ago and find that greasy food or coffee is enough to get me going so if i'm starting to get hard BM whilst i'm in this phase of recovery I deliberately take either of the above and bingo my problem is solved! I hope you feel better soon

BM Question Maybe TMI

I too had my gallbladder out, just 6 weeks after my first csection, 24 years ago, had tah, endo, the whole nine yards, I am 15 days since my tah. the gas and bm's are horrible. I keep telling myself that this too sill get better, notice I didn't say this too shall pass. haha. I have noticed if I stay away from greasy foods, the cabbage/broccoli family, coffee, and very spicy foods that I do much better. Meanwhile, I'll just keep all of us in my prayers, and hope that we will soon feel much better.

Thank you very much... I do not try to eat greasy foods but sometimes something passes my lips that should not...
