Vaginal hemmorage 23 days post hysterectomy - emergency surgery

I posted about this earlier this week but I can't find it.. ugh feeling very frustrated! I woke up last Sunday (23 days post op da Vinci hysterectomy )got in the shower and for no reason it was like the faucet of blood turned on and wouldn't stop. Rushed to hospital lost a lot of blood and required an on call doctor to perform emergency vaginal cuff repair. The thing is he couldn't find out where I was bleeding from which now worries the heck out of me! A lot of blood transfusions and 4 days in the hospital and I'm home now. I'm afraid to move I'm afraid I'll have another bleed. I'm now starting to spot very very light pink when I only wipe. But I'm scared Anyone have any advice for me? I missed my mother in laws funeral over the past two days so I'm very upset about that also... my doctor says I can get up and move around and do things again but I'm scared Should I lay in bed all day? I get into these coughing spells and I fell like I'm ripping my insides I would like to ad before this happen I had followed every rule with lifting I haven't went up and down any stairs and we have had no sex.. Please any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Getting up and doing some gentle walking is really important for our recovery! Do not stay 100% in bed unless you were specifically told to.

I have been terrified to cough or sneeze and have managed to avoid both for two whole weeks. Does your doctor think your cough could have loosened something?

He has no idea It just happens sometimes. He just told me if I have any red spotting go straight to the hospital over the weekend! Just really scared!
