Play--I have friends in Nanaimo. Or maybe they are in Parksville. I don't really know. We spend our summers in BC at goalie camps and may actually make it to the island next summer.

Will you have your surgery in Vancouver?

Wow it is a small small world! I am living in Nanaimo and the specialist will be operating here in town. I have talked to a couple of women that have had the same doctor, I am in good hands.

My son has been attending the Clippers' hockey camps now for 2 years, wonderful way to get them ready for the season! Hopefully you can make it back to the island.

Actually, we haven't been to camp on the island. The owner of it lives there. He holds camps all over BC, and we've been to Delta, Cranbrook, Summerland, Castlegar and Invermere. He gives us a great break and we keep coming back to him. We might go to a camp on the island this year.

We started going when we lived in Reno and it wasn't as far. Now we've moved to Northern MN (by Thunder Bay), so it's quite a drive. We vowed not to do it again this year, but we did anyway. It's about a 4500 mile/7000 km jaunt.

We have three goalies, and one is now teaching at the camp!!

Wow that is a drive for hockey camp! I used to live in Thunder Bay as a little girl and had to drive to BC to visit my grandparents, I am sure the drive hasn't gotten any shorter in 30 years!!! *laughing*

Actually, we've done it several ways. This year we went through North Dakota and saw Custer's mansion in ND, then went to Custer's Last Stand (famous American history stuff), then some neat caverns in Montana. Last year we went through Banff. Saskatch. is BOR-ING!!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I can't believe how much I look forward to spending 1/2 hour in front of the computer before bed every night (okay sometimes it is a little longer).

I just wish the doctor's office would call, had a terrible day again and I just want this continuous cramping and pain to be over with!

Once again, thanks for listening and for the support! I learn a little something new every time I sit and read. *warm hugs*
