Had such a kick out of the gals in the orthodontic office!
Had an immediate retainer check-up when I mentioned surgery, no wait..just there and then!
Anyway..they said, as I left.."Remember; you aren't well until you get out of your pajamas!"
I only wish my sister-in-law was nice about it. She is rude to me, ever since I mentioned I'm having it done, and we're the same age. She acts as if I'm incapable of making the decision. She's a physical therapist's assistant and thinks she's a doctor!
She's never had the problems I've had, so she can't relate!
I think there is advice we can do without, and people I don't know treat me better than family!

P.S. I'm telling the orthodontist's wife about this site; she's having problems and is considering a hysterectomy.

Great pass the word along, makes it more fun to chat with more people! Sorry to hear about your sister in-law. Is sso worried about you? Some people have trouble admitting their fears and can usually come on strong, for lack of knowing what to say! Some medical people feel as though they "know it all", too bad. Personally, I've worked with some of that, and it makes it difficult to relate to them. Anyway here's hoping all goes well for you! Love & Prayers, Roz
