Night sweats a year later

Hi Everyone,
I had my surgery 8/26/08 and had some issues with night sweats after surgery that seemed to subside. Recently they have started again and it is not hot in our home by any means. I kept 1 ovary and I'm wondering if this is normal or if I need to contact the dr. I am only 34 so I am not sure why this is happening.

It might be that your ovary is not functioning very well. I would give the a call and see if they think you need some tests run to see what your hormone levels are at.

Also, I took black cohosh for awhile after my lavh/bso and that helped with the night sweats. You might ask your doc and see if it is something that you might consider taking.

Night sweats can be caused by hormone fluctuations. I would suggest that you start keeping a journal of your symptoms. A journal might give a better idea if you are having other symptoms that may be related and if they are getting better or worse over time and if there may perhaps be a pattern to them.
