11 days out and pain worsening

I had my LAVH on 8/19. The first three to four days were uncomfortable but expectedly so and easily managed. Days five through eight were mostly better, a bit more energy though still needed naps and not driving or doing to much. Days nine through eleven (today) have been getting worse. I did do a lot the past few days as far as being on my feet but still careful about lifting and still no driving. Today I am having a lot of pelvic pain and lower back pain that sharpens when urinating or just passing gas. (not feeling like a URI, more upper pelvic). I've not been constipated the past few days but feeling a need to go creates a lot of pain. Not sure if I should call the Dr, just go back on the Percocet or try to rest more. Hubby has been great but now saying "common' this has been well over a week you should be doing more" I know he thinks I am lazy and milking this whole thing so I don't let on about the pain to much. I mention it but he doesn't take it seriously anyway.

Is this normal or should I call the Dr?

I am having some of the very same feelings. Was doing so good and now - feel like I have gone backwards these last 2 days. My surgery was the same day as yours. Helps to know others are feeling the same way....now just wondering why?

There is a lot of 2 steps forward & 1 step back. It would be best if you can just rest for a few days. You are still very early. I went on a lot of slow walks & then rested. If you see bright red blood or your pain gets worse then for sure call the doctor. It sounds like you just over did it a bit. You can always call the doctor & ask just to be sure. Take it easy!

Update: the pain got worse and my temp is 99.9 so I called the Dr. and she wants to see me in the AM. She said I could be brewing a bladder infection but the pain meds are working so I felt I didn't need to go in after hours to see the on call Dr. Now to try to get some sleep tonight.
