Feeling Selfish and Angry

Sorry sorry that you've had such a hard time. I wish I had some advice; but all I can offer are virtual hugs of support. Vent at us any time - we never judge.

Okay, going on 8 months post surgery. Wound from abdominal abscess surgery is STILL open, still draining, still have to have bandaged all the time. Still hurts, still numb, still can't have sex, still driving me crazy. Is that all you ask? Of course not. At my doctor's visit last week he advises I now have a HERNIA below the incision!?!?!? What next? How many more awful things can we possibly pile onto the aftermath of this obviously stupid decision to have a hysterectomy?? I am NOT having another surgery so they had just better figure out how to deal with the hernia, enough is enough already!!

I hear your disgust at yet another complication, but... um... you probably already know that a hernia doesn't get better by itself. I guess you'll be muttering - it's not the only thing.

God Bless you! You have been thru so much. Please come and vent to us. We won't judge and certainly won't give you empty platitudes about how it will all get better soon and such. It will take the time it takes and that sucks! I certainly hope that your problems get resolved soon.
