anybody dizzy?

I had my TAH on 6/13. Haven't felt too bad. Sun. night I took a percocet at bed. Woke up in the middle of thenight very dizzy. Kinda like the spins. I figured it was the pain meds so I stopped taking them. I've been fine with some extra strength tylenol. Woke up again last night dizzy. I've been eating less than usual so I tried eating more. That doesn't seem to help. Woke up dizzy today & it hasn't gone away. Just laying around hoping it stops. I go to the dr. tomorrow to get my staples out so I'll ask him then.

anybody dizzy?

Last year I had laparoscopic surgery with general anesthesia. My recovery was terrible with a strange dizziness. I was light-headed and weak for almost two weeks, and no one could explain it! I blame it on my body reacting to the anesthesia, and this year (6 days ago to be exact), I had my hysterectomy with a spinal. My recovery was incredible, and no light-headedness!

anybody dizzy?

Hi girls

I'm dizzy and lightheaded too. Only when I'm up, not when I'm lying down so at the moment I'm down more than up. Good opportunity to rest more. We'll get better soon, It's only been a week.

anybody dizzy?

I had dizziness as a side effect of Percocet. My doc gave me a 3 day 'scopolomine patch' to put behind my ear (that is usually used for motion sickness). It really helped! The dizziness and nausea subsided. The only side effect I had from the patch was dry mouth. Much better than feeling like I'm going to hurl.

anybody dizzy?

My anesthesiologist put one of those patches behind my ear before surgery. I think it really helped me, too b/c after it fell off I had terrible dizzyness. I went in to my Dr who checked me for anemia and found nothing. I was off the pain meds- I couldn't figure it out. My surgery was June 11 and I would say that yesterday I felt pretty normal most of the day.
I have a friend who had internal bleeding after her LAVH in March. She lost half of her blood and had to have 6 transfusions. She was very dizzy. Needless to say, that scared the daylights out of me!

blessing to all Princesses!
