Ovaries: Removed both

What is "repair bowel serosa?"

I am four days post-op from a TAH/BSO and on my discharge report it states that one of the procedures done was "repair bowel serosa". Anyone know what that means?

Serosa refers to a membrane that lines certain cavities enclosing their contents. In your case, the bowel.
