Lifting limits@ 6 weeks

I just had my 6 week check up today. I've healed well and aside from swelly belly and a sleeping ovary I am fit as a fiddle.

Doc said it is ok for me to carry my 40lb massage table now...I know I have the energy to give massages but nervous about carrying the table...Your thoughts Ladies?

I had LAVH 7 weeks ago and my doc told me, not more then 20lb till the three months mark.
But the best thing may be, to listen to your body.

Thanks! Since I had a TAH I know the limits shouldn't be so loose even @6 weeks. I have some awessome clients who have offered to carry it to get me back so I'll give'em a discount

That seems to be a good and nice deal for both sides :-)

I had a total lavh on feb 10 and my dr is releasing me to go back to work at 5 wks post op and lifting up to 50 lbs he said is ok

Ok. I had TAH on jan 30th. I went for my 5 week check up and was told by my dr. Nothing over 5 lbs for 3 months!!!! Everything is healing ok and I am doing great. Anyone else get these orders? I am thinking because I had radiation last summer....
