Nervous and scared

I am new this website and looking for some much needed guidance in this unknown journey I am about to take on. I live in Ft Worth and am scheduled to have my hysterectomy 11/26. Uterine Fibroid and ovarian cyst. I dont know the techincal terms or abbreviation but they are taking everything! Extremely nervous and scared of what lies ahead of me. Any advice would be so appreciated!

I had my hysterctomy on 10/10/2008. I had everything removed plus a bladder sling due to years of problems due to Uterine fibroid and ovarian cyst. I was very scared and nervous but finally got the courage. It was fine. I am truly glad I had it done. I have never felt better. I had mine done laproscopic was in at 7:00 a.m. on Friday home at 3:00 p.m. next day. I can tell you my surgery was very positive. It's normal to be scared we have all been there. You are not alone. This web-site is a great help. Ask any questions you need the ladies will always try to answer as best as they can. If you have any spacifics you need me to answer just let me know.
