Incontinence concern

I've seen some scary statistics regarding incontinence issues after hysterectomy - how is it been for you gals who are, say, 6 mos. or so post-surgery. Is this something your doc has discussed with you or has it been a non-issue? Do you do pelvic floor exercises, like Kegel, and do find it helpful?

It's been over five years since my hysterectomy, and I haven't experienced any incontinence whatsoever. I wouldn't worry about this if I were you. With any major surgery, there is always the possibilty of post-op complications. I say...cross that bridge if you come to it but don't anticipate that you will.

i havent had any issues either

I haven't had any problems. My doctor suggested I do Kegels. I only do those on occassion.
