TAH: Swelly band or not?

I just had my final appt. with my doctor before i had to the castle on dec.12, i asked him about the tummy band and i said i wont need it because of the imcisions. I was wondering if it really helped any of one that had the tummy band?

I know you are already post-op but there are many members who really like them. However it seems that they are used mostly by women who have had abdominal surgeries. Some laproscopic patients do use them. I didn't, I just held a pillow to my tummy.
