Great 6 Week checkup! :-)

Hello Ladies!
Just wanted to share my news from my 6 week checkup today. My DR said everything is healed perfectly, and I now have no restrictions. He thinks my back pain will subside pretty quick, as I can now start to work on my abdominal muscles again. I jogged 4 miles this evening (SLOW of course! ;-)), and did some ab work. Amazing how weak my abs are after only 6 weeks! I was also released to have 'relations' with my darling hubby, but I must admit I am a bit nervous about 'bed-time' tonight. My DR said it probably wouldn't be enjoyable for me the first couple times, as the 'pouch' where my cervix was removed and re-sewn will have to be stretched back out. Now, that just sounds ICKY to me! Wish me luck! ;-o

Good for you! Good luck tonight! I still 2.5 weeks until I see the doc for 6 wk check and I'm already nervous about resuming "relations". DH getting excited! Again - so happy for you! I can't wait to work out again!

Thanks! :-) I'll post something tactful of course, after 'bed-time', and share my experience. I HOPE it's a good one! My husband is concerned as well, and doesn't want to do anything to hurt me. The exam today didn't hurt though, so I'm taking that as a good sign! :-)

I had my 6-week checkup yesterday, and had our first "fun time" last night Hubby has been so patient that I wanted to reward him Surprisingly, I had no problems whatsoever, and it was "very" enjoyable Not even sore today... we did take it very easy though, so I think that helped.

I am looking forward to my 6 wk check up which is not for 2 wks yet, but I am feeling well.
