Help! Manly man arm pits anbody?

i found one that worked for me...at bath and body works. It's sunripened raspberry, deodorant and antiperspirant. i'm not totally sure if it's fixing the problem or just masking it, but i know i'm more confident, which was the whole problem, right?

Hi,
Here's another thought. You could try adding a chlorophyll rich supplement to your diet (like wheat grass or chlorella). You can puchase either at a health food store. The chlorophyll reduces body odor by helping to detoxify. We are given so many things during surgery, and after via an IV. Your body may just still be trying to expel all of it.

Sending best wishes,

Help! Manly man arm pits anbody?

I'm two weeks post op and have noticed that I have been perspiring more than usual....! I'm hoping it's only temporary - and that it could be hormones or toxins etc from having surgery.

AlCo

Hi:Rather than a deordorant, I recommend an anti-perspirant. It's really basic and I've used it all my post-adolescent life: It's a 70 percent solution of Aluminum Cloride (AlCo). I get it made up without a perscription at a very good pharmacy. You just put a few drop of this clear liquid on your fingers and touch it to your underarms --- no smell for the rest of the day, and no pastey stuff, either. Don't put in on if you shaved your underarms in the morning. The shaved skin will sting a bit. So, shave at night and put it on in the a.m. Also, keep it on the skin with the hair folicles (not the surrounding skin). I got AlCo from my mom...and it really has worked!

Hi

There was another question like this, only recently ... wish I could remember the question title ... you could try a search on odor!

Anyway, someone complained about being all smelly since their surgery and replies came from everywhere, including me! I've just noticed, in the last couple of days (which is nearly 5 months post-op) that the smelliness has suddenly stopped. I've no idea why. Something has obviously settled down but don't ask me what!

Good luck!
