Asherman's Syndrome
Hello. I am new to this website.
I read your post. I have has the same exact stuff you describe. Here's my history.
17 - 19 week D&E termination (I know...)
19 - late 1st tri miscarriage, resulting in emer D&C
22 - intertility work up (diag lap, pain w/cycle, pain w/sex)
** told nothing was wrong
30 - BIRTH FIRST CHILD! via ER c-section
31 - major pain, that sharp knife-stabbing at ovulation...
went to GYN office Suggested Lupron injections for adenomyosis... refused it becasue of the NASTY list of side effects....
32 - BIRTH SECOND CHILD via scheduled cesarean
**doc found MAJOR adhesions when he took out second child. but them all out. took an hour.
34 - start to have pain again at ovulation, pain w/sex, passed massive blood clot mid-cycle. wen to DR immediately, thought it was miscarriage. but it wasn't.
36 - start heavy mid-cycle bleeding with big clots, cannot have sex, massive pain --acting like a pinched nerve on right side right at the crease of your leg...
So, had a diag lap, hysteroscopy, and D&C just this past Friday. Asherman's Sydrome. Massive scar adhesions in uterus just about cutting it in half. uterus ashered to read abdominal wall. ovaries in a mess of ashesions.
Dr suggesting hysterectomy.
Has your DR considered uterine adhesions? Have you had hysteroscopy??
Good luck.
The best thing I can tell you:
GET A WELL EDUCATED DOCTOR!! One who will search until he finds the answer.
