When will this bleeding stop?

I had to have a hysterectomy due to Essure. The doctor implanted me with them on July 11, 2012 without performing a standard allergy test beforehand. Months of sickness went by.. And my personal story with that device is very long, so I will skip ahead to today. After my hysterectomy, I didn't realize how much better I would feel, but I still have pain, still bleeding, little or no appetite, taking Miralax as well as Phillip's m.o.m and have had a couple down and out exhausted days. When will the pain and bleeding stop entirely?

Glad you found this site. There's lots of helpful info here. Your symptoms sound right on target so it helps to get support here. A call to your doctor is always good if you are concerned. Lots of rest as you slowly ease back into your life. You've been through a lot.

I'm 5 wks post op today and my bleeding has finally stopped (I hope! Fingers crossed) I started bleeding at 2 1/2 weeks and it just got less and less till now. My dr said some spotting up till 6 wks is normal.

I'm having some bleeding and when I spoke to a nurse today she asked me if I was a bleeder? Apparently, some people bleed more than others. I have to admit if I have a cut, it really bleeds. You should check with your Dr if you are concerned, but bleeding appears normal for about 6 or so weeks. I'm lucky that the pain isn't so bad right now but there have been bad days. Hope you feel better soon.

I hardly bleed at all. I'm thinking it's attributed to the Essure device. Pain is constant still in my left ovary.
