Pre-op visit today, surgery Wed. 1/8

Well, I am also new here but am ready to get the crabby thing out. I had hoped that my last period would hold off but it didn't and I am glad because it has strengthened my resolve. Not only was it early it is the worst one I have had in months. I have my list of questions for my doc and am ready ( legs shaved and everything) My doc. actually recommended this site and I have been reading a bit here and there and decided to sign-up today.
I am at peace and ready for whatever happens and I do plan on taking it easy after and I am looking forward to being pampered a bit when I get home. Well, I travel appr.2 hours to doc office for pre-op visit today and surgery on Wed. 1/8 ( incredibly soon!!)

Good luck at pre op today, it's usually pretty easy. I had blood drawn , chest x-rays, an EKG and answered medical questions. You sound so up beat , I'm sure that you'll do great at both pre op and surgery. Let us know how you do, we'll be thinking of you and sending good wishes.
