Dear Sisters,
My date is July 9th and I'm ready, I have been so sick the last three weeks.......nausuea is killing me. I am working at less than half speed. I worked a full day Tues. and wham, woke up yesterday morning and could not go to work because I felt so sick to my stomach. I am listening to my body and trying to give it what it request, some good advice from another sister was not to be sick when I go to the castle.
I was in the er 3 weeks ago and they did a cat scan and a pelvic ultrasound. It was there they found the cyst on my left ovary.
Since then, I have to force feed myself as I am not hungry at all, I feel like someone has punched in my stomach, and just so sick to my stomach. Has anyone else had to deal with this?
I'm ready for the surgery, and wait to the last minute to get nervous, always numb my way through the bad stuff.
I'm a little worried that there may be more wrong then cysts and fibroid tumors, such as cancer. Would they have found that on the cat scan? Or ultra sound? I just have not been this sick for such a long period of time, and it has just been since getting out of the hospital. I am constantly running a fever, which when it is high, is when I really want to keel over.
Any input would be greatly appreciated,
Much Love,
Sister41

((( Sister41 ))), I'm sorry that you're feeling so bad. If you haven't already called your dr about all this, I think that you should call now. Not eating and running a constant fever is not good. Please call soon. I'll be keeping you in my . Please let me know what you learn.

nausea
Sister41,
Please call your doctor or go back to the ER, it is not normal to be in this much pain and running a fever. One of the cysts or a fibroid could be twisted or constricted. This needs to be checked out pronto. Whatever this is, it does not sound normal.
Hugs....Joan

thank you
I have called my dr. 3 times regarding how sick I am, she says she will operate with my temp and she just says "oh well, almost over" I don't think it's normal either. MY primary dr told me what to watch for if one of the cycsts is about to burst, big swollen belly and non stop bleeding. My gyn who is female is rated amongst the top 5 of surgeons in my city, but does not have
any bed side manner. Five days to go, I can get through that.
I do have someone to take care of me, my Mom, I will be staying with her for probably 2 weeks. She is the best care giver, so I am so blessed.
I guess since it's getting right dow to it, and I'm so sick, I'm thinking all kind of weired thoughts. I go to work for a couple hours, but this temp has got me feeling like a rag doll. I come home and sleep. Which is a good thing since I don't sleep much at night.
Thanks for all your input, so appreciated.
Much Love,
Sister41
