Swollen feeling after internal exam?

So I posted my epic overdoing it story in the I *am* a moron thread and how I ended up with an unexpected internal exam at the 6 week mark. This was on Thursday.

The speculum was pretty uncomfortable, (I never find the speculum particularly easy but this was worse than normal) she moved it around I assume to get good view and she poked around in there with a qtip to get a culture and then after that did a probing internal exam to ensure that the opening in the cuff incision line was indeed superficial and not going all the way through.

I've used Estrace cream as prescribed the last two nights and have been good about taking it easy but that hasn't meant not being on my feet for a few hours...

I think that the feeling of a tampon not being in correctly/internal vaginal pressure that sent me to the Dr in the first place is reduced and could even be gone... but the reason I'm not sure is that there is a (new?) feeling of pressure/swelling around the vaginal opening/vulva.

It sort of feels abused but then again perhaps it was a bit during the exam.

What do you think... normal or a new cause for worry? I think normal but my mental anxiety would sure be eased to hear that others have experienced this.
