Discharge?

Has anyone else had this... I am three weeks post-op feeling great most days! But I am having a light brown discharge, just wanted to know if any one else had this, and if so, how much longer will it last?????????????
I thought the days of not having to wear a pad was over

Discharge?

HI
I am almost 6 weeks post op and I still have a discharge. My dr said it was because I was still healing inside.

Discharge?

I am six weeks post op and mine stopped just a few days ago. I think that is pretty much the norm around here. However, some sisters have had little to no discharge as we all heal differently.

Don't worry, it will stop.

Discharge?

The hysterectomy checkpoints weeks 3-4 describe some discharge. Maybe that will give you an idea if that is what you are having.

Discharge?

I too am having the same discharge. You are one of the first that I have read that had a LAVH. Did you or do you have a significant amount of pain around your belly button. That is my main area of complaint. I have a call into the DR, but no response yet today.

Discharge?

My urogyn and gyn both said I would have discharge which would increase. My urogyn said at times it would be heavier. I have had some one and off, but nothing earth shattering!

Discharge?

My belly button has been rather sensitive/tender also. I will be two weeks post-op tomorrow. I also have the incision on my right side that has been more painful than the others.

Discharge?

I had a LAVH on May 16th (4 weeks tomorrow), and I have had spotting/discharge like you have described since then. Just in the last 2 days or so it has decreased and gotten lighter in color, so I'm hoping it's about done.

My belly button incision has definitely been the most tender, as is my tummy near the belly button. However, it's getting better.

Discharge?

I had no discharge after day 3 post op... Until this weekend - when my period was due. Got the monthly migraine, cramping, moodiness and 3 days of yucky brown spotting. Grr! I'm quite sure it was a mini period - but won't know for sure until next month if it happens again.
Belly button incision still annoying. Can't wear any of my normal clothes as they fall right there...

Discharge?

I also had a LAVH. My gyn/onc told me that the belly button incision will be the worst because that is where they put the camera in and they move it around so much that the area takes a beating. Mine is slowly getting better. I also have the brownish discharge, but I am told that is normal at this stage and to only be concerned if I see bright red blood. Take care and continue to pamper yourself!
