LAVH Still having discharge I am in my 6th week post hysterectomy

Not finding my way around this site well. My Hysterectomy was on the 7 Aug, 2014. Feel fantastic. Only I am still having a discharge. Phoned my Doctor las week, he is not concerned unless it were to increase or develope an odour. Am walking easy each day about 30 minutes. Have been really resting well during this time.

Ya I had discharge until almost 7 weeks then it finally stopped!! I thought it would never end!!! U should be almost done too

I had discharged until week 12. I called in week 11 to speak with a nurse and she said, "Well, you did just have major surgery and you're probably just more active because you returned to work, so take it easy" It was hard to take it easy returning to work in week 6 and returning to my normal activities but then out of nohere in week 12 all discharge ceased, I was totally amazed. I must say reading comments about how other sisters never had discharge really didn't help me believe that I would ever stop. Hang in there you're not alone!

Hi ...Hyster-sister! I had my surgery the day before you and my discharge just stopped last week. I thought there was something wrong as well. I'm still battling with wearing jeans and pants that squeeze my belly...arrrgghhhh its the worst!

Thanks for the encouragement Hypersisters, Vnjone, Trina77 and jenn3149247. I will stop worrying now.
