I'm miserable! 😭

Had full hysterectomy 2010.
Was briefly on HRT ESTRADIAL.
I am still suffering mood swings, insomnia, hot flashes, night sweats, headaches, no energy,weight gain and brain fog.
I don't have health insurance. Anyone know of home remedies, diet, self help to tackle some of these issues on my own since I can't afford to go to doctor.

I had a LAVH/BSO on 3/29/17. I haven't yet had to deal with the typical menopause symptoms yet (as of 5/31/17 my body is still producing estrogen per hormone level blood work ). The one annoying issue that I've been dealing with for WEEKS is sore breasts. I read a few things on HS about Evening Primrose Oil supplement and how it helps with sore breasts along with other menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes. I've only be taking the supplement for about a week but you may want to check and see if that's something that could help you with some of your symptoms. I purchased mine through GNC and it's 1300 mg. I take one capsule in the morning and evening with meals.

Sherryann, it sounds like you're not taking hrt due lack of insurance. I just want to make sure that's it before I post anything.Many women on this forum can't due to cancer concerns or are choosing not to.

I found fasting helps my night sweats very much. As well as general well being.

Also, using Prenenolone and dhea helps all the other symptoms of menopause. The are the 'grandmother' and 'mother' of all hormones, respecitvely. Preg helps my sleep and brain a lot and dhea is the precursor to male and female hormones. I would say get tested first, but that's quite expensive as well.

And you can find some products online. Amazon carries a trandermal bi estrogen that seems to be the real deal.
