Still bleeding (inc and vag) after 2 weeks?

The vag one, I know isn't unusual except that it only really started on day 8 (little tiny bit after surg). It's not bright red so much anymore. But my incision has not stopped bleeding since day 3. When I clean it all off in the shower, you can see two areas that look like big clots. Is that normal? Do you think it needs packing? It bleeds all the time- not a ton, but enough. At the castle, on day 3, I had a big gushing bleed-out, attributed to the heparin shots and maybe a bleeding disorder (still haven't heard back about the tests I had for VonWillebrands and Factor VII). The GYN thought I probably had a belly full of blood and it is just finding it's way out. That sound normal? She didn't want to drain it, would prefer that I reabsorb it, as my iron is really low. I think my haemoglobin is now about 77 (7.7). I'm not allowed ibuprofen or NSAIDs, which is a drag, as I'm almost out of my pain meds (and tylenol isn't doing anything) and she doesn't want to prescribe more (grrrr).
Sorry, this message has been a bit of a mess, but I'm concerned and wouldn't mind some input!

Thanks, Stephanie

Still bleeding (inc and vag) after 2 weeks?

Hi,

I would call the dr and let them know how you are feeling and what you are experiencing with the bleeding. Let them know about any pain too.

At least they can let you know if it is okay or they need to see you.

I hope things get better for you. It takes time to heal.
