Ovaries: Kept 1 or both
Stiches & sharp pain after surgery

Hello ladies,
I had my left ovary removed March 3, 2011. After 3 months of post op, I still have dissolving stitches that haven't dissolved. Also this week I am encountering sharp burning pain periodically on the same side the ovary was removed. Any suggestions etc. God bless!

Dyield, I definitely think you need to call the doctor's office and ask about this. Your stitches should be gone by now and can cause problems if they stay too long - the doc can remove them and talk to you about the pain at the same time.
