4 weeks post hysterectomy: possible rectocele repair needed

I may have to have a repair surgery for a rectocele anyone heard of it please reply if you have very down

Yes! I had this done at the same time as my LAVH on June 16th. My bowels were pushing into my vaginally wall due to a retroverted (tipped back) uterus pushing into my bowels(colon). They basically reinforced the back of my vaginal wall and stitched it up after removing my uterus with large fibroid and my cervix. Only real
Difference in recovery is I have many more stitches and they come farther down near the entrance of my vagina so I can't swim or bathe for at least 6 weeks to reduce risk of infection. It is not anything to be afraid of and immediately I felt relief from symptoms I had struggled with prior to my rectocelle. Good luck and don't worry. It's actually a very common procedure to have.

Thank you hopefully will find out next week just hate to have surgery again so close to hystrectomy
