lighthearted poem
My home is on two stories, front entrance is on the main floor and we go up the stairs to the main living area of the house. So once I come home from the hospital I am up for a couple of weeks. I've been racking my mind how to let people know I'm home and actually might want company to break up my day so I've come up with this little ditty to post on my front door... thought I'd share it will you ladies.
~~~~~~~~
Yes, I’m home and on the mend
I can’t do stairs, nor can I bend
So enter, holler, and make the tea
I’ll rise from my slumber to visit with thee
Bring nothing with you ‘cept a smile and good wishes
Please ignore the dust and my sink full of dishes
There’s no maid service here to get the job done
So the housework will wait till 2000 and 1
