one month (endo)

I have one month until my surgery... and I know that I'll be getting more and more nervous as the date gets closer... I'm doing okay right now, not so nervous...

Re: one month

LizBitz, you will do fine. You're probably going to have some anxiety, but it will pass. I'm 2 weeks Pre-op now and I've had some pretty anxious days, but as its getting closer I know it will be over before I know it. I'm really starting to focus on what I need to prep for now so hopefully I can keep busy.

Re: one month

Hi LilBitz988 -

This surgery can generate an emotional , and anxiety, nerves, and freakouts can intensify as the surgery date draws near. Just know that that is normal, and that we are here to help and support you.

Re: one month

thank you so much. I am kind of already an emotional roller coaster. Where I'm getting it because of Endometriosis, I was given two Lupron Depot shots. And I've figured out that it kind of throws me into a sort of menopause. Since I got the second one, my mood swings (I've always had mood swings) have gone berzerk. I'm a little bit nervous also because I know that my nerves are unstable. I suffer from Anxiety/ Depression and am probably worrying about nothing, but I can't help but worry.

Re: one month

Hi Lilbitz... You will be fine. I have had such terrible panic attacks and wanting to cancel, basically all over the place, but these sisters are right, we all go through it in varing degrees, and you can say what ever you like on here, no one judges, everyone cares, we are all in the same boat. I am now counting hours, and yes Im nervous, but I know it will be all worth it in the end. much love and hugs to you all xooxox

Re: one month

Don't beat yourself up. This is MAJOR SURGERY and is a BIG DEAL. All of your emotions are normal - it is tough to digest and process all of this. It affects everyone the same way, whether your surgery is for endo, cysts, fibroids, or any other medical issue. You are not alone! Never on this site. We really understand what you are going through, and will be by your side throughout this process.
