TVH- Pre- op Appointment went well!!

Hi everyone. I had me pre op today, what a relief. I went into the apt with a whole sheet of questions and all of them got answered. The one question I really wanted to ask my Dr. about was - he told me I would be able to go home that evening WHAT???? I must of sounded crazy when today I went in and asked if I could stay the night. I have a hour drive home and I really didn't feel comfortable about going home the same day. He said it was no problem, that I was able to stay until I felt comfortable going home. I feel so much better now. Hopefully I can sleep now, haven't gotten much sleep since last Friday UUUHGGGGG. Well thanks for listening!!

i'm glad your appointment went well. good idea about staying at least overnight..i did also and i'm so glad i did

I'm glad your pre-op went well and you were able to get answers to all your questions! I stayed overnight after my TVH and even though I lived very close to the hospital, I'm glad I stayed.

Glad you were able to get your questions answered. I cannot imagine going home the same day. I stayed 2 nights with my tvh-it was dr preferred.
