Home from the Castle!

Hi All! I had my TVH Monday and came home this morning. They kept me an extra night b/c late Monday/early Tuesday I developed a temp of 102, blood pressure dropped to 58/38. I was walking to bathroom right after surgery so they were able to remove boots early Tues. AM. Catheter came out same time. They decided that the low blood pressure was due to morphine (plus I was mildly nauseous) took me off the drip and I began feeling pretty darn good!! Had more belly pain but the loritabs took care of that! Not nearly as bad as some of my monthly period pain. Nurses were great, dh was wonderful...I know I'm rambling but I'm kinda sleepy (hard to get sleep in the castle!) so I'm going night-night now!!

Thanks for all the support!!

Home from the Castle!

I know you must be happy to be home. Now take heed of all the good advice you have gotten from other princesses.. Lots of water, short walks and lots and lots of rest.

Welcome Home, Princess Lisa!!

I'm glad you are back from the castle and doing okay now. Your crown looks wonderful!!!

Take it easy, get plenty of rest, and don't overdo it, no matter how good you might feel. And no vacuuming, mowing the lawn, or skydiving!

Best wishes, s, and prayers for a speedy and uneventful recovery,

Lisa

Welcome home Princess! Doesn't it feel good? Now don't let that good feeling fool you! You MUST take it easy for awhile. Force yourself to just lay around for while. Your body will thank you for it!
