Surgery Type: SAH

Ovaries: Removed both

A Question Post op Sisters!

I went in for an outpatient laprascopic surgery for cyst removal and D & C. I knew I had an enlarged uterus and doctors thought fibroids. When I woke up from surgery I had a SAH/BSO. Surgery took about 5 hours. I was full of endo and adhesions. Could not save anything except for a very small portion of my cervix. Only reason they left that was because doctor said there was too much pressure when trying to remove it and they were afraid of collapse. Talk about being in shock when I woke up. LOL
