How long was your stay??

I had surgery on a Tuesday afternoon (2:30) and was home on Thursday morning (8:30). In and out for me.

They had given me a pad after surgery and when I got up the next morning and had catheter removed they also took the pad, no bleeding since and almost five weeks post op.

How about for a LSH? That's what I'm having and I haven't seen much discussion about hospital stays for that. The surgeon said I could go home that day (after a 7:45 surgery and an estimated 3 hr. surgery) but the thought of driving home 1 1/2 hours the same day makes me feel quite ill!

I stayed one night, had some spotting while in the hospital but none since I've been home - 2 days now.

I'm having a TVH and have been told I will most likely be in the hospital only one night - surgery is scheduled for 1250pm.
I can't imagine the hospital would kick you out if you said you wanted to spend the night - especially if you are going to be riding an hour and a half by car to get home.

I was at the hospital 4 nights - 5 days. There was a little complication.
