one week Post Op. DvH. feeling fabulous

Well I have to say I felt wonderful as soon as Anesthesia wore off. I seriously did not feel this good in over 20 years aside from while I was pregnant. I have to remind myself that I am healing. I am a little sore and moving slow but other than that....fabulous. I had Uterus and Cervix removed. My ovaries looked fantastic so they were able to leave them. I laugh now because I keep thinking that my ovaries are smiling. Like they are laugh to eachother , like wow "we are so glad she (uterus) is gone she was making us look bad." LOL First few days were overwhelming with emotions, I felt like I finally won my battle with Endometreosis after fighting for so many years, having it control my life. I finally felt that I do not have to schedule my life around my periods, wow what I way to live. Needles to say I am speechless and looking forward to my new life.
