Burning pain in incision 6 weeks post hysterectomy (TAH)

Pls help!!!!!! For the last few days I have noticed that towards the evening the top part of my incision gets red and has a burning pain!! According to the doc it has healed well!!'

My incision would get red amd be painful in the evening. I think it was due to the swelling I the afternoon and it would stretch the skin. My doc said it was healing well also. At 8 months, it finally doesn't turn red all time but there is still pain and swelling at times. How much longer will this last....
