Timeing in everything - is it not?

Had my pre-op yesterday. Everything went really well. Last thing the doc says to me before I walk out the door is "now, just don't get sick, and I'll see you on the 6th". And what do I wake up to this morning? A cold of course. Initially, I thought that I was just having a particularly bad reaction to my cat . He really does need a bath to reduce the dander, but it's not him. I laid down on the couch this afternoon ( you know how sleepy we anemics get), and woke up with my nost completely blocked, and the cat no where around.

:sigh: Oh, well. I guess I'll just get lots of , drink lots of , and just hope it goes away quickly.

I've got a cold too! Woke up with it on Sunday. I go for surgery on the 7th of Sept. Am in fretting state that I will not get better. I have two weeks to go. I would hate to have to put it off and re-schedule when I have everything organized for my trip to the castle.
