I finally got the clerance i've been waiting for to resume sex and i'm terrified!! Don't get me wrong, I want him sooooooo bad (remember the flames ), but I'm scared..............

Please tell me some good stories......

I feel like such a wimp after wanting it so bad.

Has been great since cleared, though in the beginning used lubrication...I would suggest that ....we were very gentle the first few times just to feel safe about it. ENJOY!!!

Thanks Ellen, you know how ready I am!!! Maybe i'm just apprehensive about it because i've read such bad post... thats why i'm hoping I get some more positive feedback, like it was soooooo good, I didn't even realize I'd had surgery.. LOL

Congrats! I would echo the whole lubricant statement. And take it easy. My DH was a bit nervous the first couple times b/c he remembered the pain I went through. Enjoy it!

My Dr. gave me the go ahead for June 26th and I'm just counting down the days! I can't wait! I haven't "cheated" at all - I have obeyed the Dr's rules and now I'm ready to party. I think my husband's scared! LOL The lubricant is the main thing - everything I've read says it may be a little uncomfortable without it. Enjoy!!!

I am so happy to hear that there are others having "reservations"....only 6 days for the all clear!! Today is first day that I have worn WHITE without a care and wonder what it will be like next week when we can finally get back to business and not have to worry about bleeding all over the place! Got my hair cut today - went shopping earlier in the week - gonna get waxed and tweezed next week and get the champagne chilled! Not sure if I should make arrangements to go in to work late the next day!!?! Makes me giddy just thinking about it! Ooops, sorry about carrying on...it's just so nice to read about my other sisters' experiences! Who else better to share with eh?

I had TVH and sex after was/is great. We got the clear at 6ish weeks and the first time was MUCH better than I anticipated. We did have to use a little lube, the first couple times, but don't need it now. I was a little sore the first couple times (not during at all....just the day after, but nothing to really complain about.) Have a wonderful time! Just relax...easier said than done, I know. My O's are still fabulous and my body is cooperating perfectly! Oh, my hyst. was 4/2/07.

Dh and I have resumed and it is gooood. Even the foreplay is better. The only issue I have is a little burning from irritation I guess so we use astroglide. That stuff is awesome. We just took our time and didnt rush things and went slow. I am a little sore after but its no biggie. Good luck.
