Hi Kdancing4fun
to HysterSisters!
I am so glad you found this site.

Since you are keeping your ovaries, the painful ovulation will not change. Sex after surgery is different for everyone. Some say it is better, some say worse, and everywhere in between. Here are
10 Concerns about Intimacy after Hysterectomy. Keep in mind you will be restricted from
any sexual activity for about 6 to 8 weeks after surgery
Here also are
10 Tips for Preparing for Your Hysterectomy and
25 Things to Know Before Your Hysterectomy.
What I found most helpful were the following:
-Meals in the freezer that can be popped in the microwave
-Easy foods for breakfasts and lunches
-Loose fitting clothing
-Small pillow to hold against your tummy for coughs and sneezes
-Recovery corner with pillows and blankets
-Super clean your house
-Cut your hair so you can avoid those chairs for some time after surgery
Just remember, you are not alone in this. We are here for you.
