Help

I am almost 8 months post op. Haven't bled since surgery, except after my post op exam. I started having sex last week, everything went fine. Had sex last night, hurt a little bit. But then about 3 am I started getting violently ill, vomiting & bad diarrhea. Have been having rounds of this ever since. I just noticed some blood on the tissue when I wiped after urinating. It scares me.

Does anyone think I could have torn something apart with my violent simultaneous vomiting & diarrhea?

Help

Hi Tina
You're far enough out from your surgery that being ill like this shouldn't be able to pull anything loose to cause bleeding. I think it's too much of a coincidence that you had sex last night and now the bleeding. It isn't unusual for some granulation to show up when you have sex. Since there was a little bit of pain that could be an indication too, even if it was just caused by dryness.
I think you need to call and have your dr check things out to make sure everything is ok. Let us know if you find out what it is.
's, Rita
