I'll parrot the others. It's time to return to the ER. You should be improving at this point, not backsliding.
I do not think this is a situation you should take a wait and see approach with.

Re: 103.8 fever, numbness in my right three fingers
I can't understand why the doc would send you home knowing the iv ab's weren't working. I also can't understand why he would take a watch and wait approach. A second opinion with a trip to ER is a must, in my opinion. Vicodin might bring your fever down, but it is only a band aid for what is really going on.

Re: 103.8 fever, numbness in my right three fingers
So I took the antibiotics like they asked me to, and twice that I have taken them I ended up vomiting. It gave me a terrible headache and I stopped it immediately. I am going ti a different hospital when my husband gets home abd than my doctor wants me to see him tomorrow. I'm in so much pain right now abs stil running a very high fever but I can control it with Tylenol and motrin. No feeling in my fingers yet though and the bleeding is increased so I decided to go somewhere else for another opinion because today they just blew me off

Could you be allergic to the antibiotics?
Did the ER doctor give you a reason for blowing you off?
