I've been glued!
I took off my bandaids today because the skin was getting so irritated by them. The nurse at the hospital said I had been stapled, so I was surprised to find I've been glued!
Is there any special incision care for being glued? (The side incisions are practically healed, it's the larger incision in my belly button that I'm concerned about.)
Should I rebandage it? I tried calling the dr. but after being on hold for 20 minutes, gave up. My post-op is Tues., but in the meantime, if there's anything I can do to minimize scarring, I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks!

I've been glued!
Hey AthenaCA ~ Congrats on making it to the post op side. No special instructions for glued incisions other than to keep them clean and dry as you would sutures or staples. Was the bandage the source of your irritation? I actually had an allergic reaction to the glue itself. Best wishes ~

I've been glued!
I was glued too. I never had any bandages or tape on mine incisions. I have 4 incisions. I am happy because my Dr told me that I could shower and bath right from day one.
