Anger 4.5 weeks post op not hrt

I am usually a very happy person but lately I find myself getting extremely angry over the littlest of things. I am usually like a duck letting water run off of its back but now instead of letting things roll off I am becoming augmentative and hateful.

Wth?

I have not started hrt and wondering if I should. I find myself apologizing in advance over how angry/*****y I have become.

Has anyone else have this extreme anger issue and how do you deal with it?

It might not be a bad idea to speak to your about this. It could be that you may need to start some sort of HRT.
I had a problem with being really angry a few weeks after my surgery. I WAS on HRT, but my doctor had just added progesterone to the mix. Apparently, my body did not react well to that. I felt a lot better a few days after I was taken off the progesterone.

Everyone is different. Our hormones change our moods and how we feel over-all, and unfortunately, there is not just one right answer when it comes to hormones or HRT. Your best bet is to speak to your doctor and find out what the best option is for you.

Try not to be so hard on yourself. I know this is a difficult time for you and those around you, but it will pass and you will get through it. Just sit your family down and explain to them that it isn't them, it is just hormones (or lack of) that is causing you to be so angry. Once they understand that, they will probably be more understanding when you do have a bout with anger.

I have been in your shoes and it is awful, I know. Please call your doctor to let him know what is going on. There is no need for you to feel this way.

I went into the hospital on my period and 3 days later I was having menopausal symptoms. I have been on Elestrin for a week and I already can feel the difference! I am not crying, over reating, no more night sweats, and I can sleep the whole night. I hope this continues. This proces has been a whirlwind! Talk to your doctor.
