Hysterectomy yesterday: passing gas
I had my hysterectomy yesterday and I came home today. I am feeling amazingly better than I was. I still have pain but it is more like muscle spasms nothing compared to the pain I had before. But my doctor said that I should be passing gas and I have some pressure but I still haven't passed any gas. Is there anything you know of to make it easier to pass the gas?

Gas ex was my best friend. Also if you are able to lay on your side and or pull your knees to your chest to "ease" the pressure.

Have you tried peppermint tea? I drink it by the bucket load also simeticone helps and just generally getting up and moving about
