I have had the same problem. I went to the doc and asked about this and she said that it was a hormone thing. She recommended taking a vitamin for post menopausal women. I have also started using the Secret Clinical. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be paying $8 for deodorant! It has helped tremendously! The only problems I have with it is that it has aluminum in it which has been linked to breast cancer. I have not had my hormones checked yet. Do you ladies find yourself sweating more now? It is hard to tell if it is just the summer or if it is from my surgery.

I started using Secret Clinical too. I love it. My other stuff was not working. If they would only make it unscented!

I Guess I Will Go Get The Secret Clinical... The Only Thing That Has Changed Is My Hot Flashes Have Stopped ( Thank You God ) Since The Surgery I Have Not Had One. Go Figure Huh.... I Think Mine Was Due To The Large Lemon Size Cyst On My Ovary And The Other One Had To Be Drained!

But **** I Smell! It Is So Embaressing.......

Hi Charlain
Have had the same problem since I had my surgery 24th June TAH kept both ovaries. Dont worry it does get a bit better i decided to check my calander and it seems to only happen around the time I would have been having a period. I put mine down to hormones. Glad to know I'm not the only smelly on here.
Found it best if I use non-scented shower gel and anti-perspirant spray
Good luck

Ladies, have any of you tried Crystal deodorant? It's some kind of earth salt and does not have aluminum in it. It's not a cream or a lotion but a Stone - and you just wet this stone and rub it under your arms. I've even used it on my feet. It prevents bacteria from forming on your skin. And it works! You can buy it at almost any drug store. Walgreens, CVS, even K-Mart, etc.....
It's supposed to last for 1 year, but I find it only lasts about 2 months.

Wow! I just love this site. Just when I thought I was the only one. Actually, I experienced this prior to the surgery, probably a couple of years ago I noticed that I sometimes get a body odor, which is very unusual. It would get so bad to me that I would actually come home on my lunch hour to take another shower. And always watch the type of clothing I wear,I know I have tried every deodorant on the store shelves including men's. I also notice that it only seems to happen at certain times during the year.

I didn't think that it may be a hormone issue, but that is something I will check into. Like Diamondlady I would always ask my husband to smell me, and he always says that it's in my head and that he doesn't smell anything. It hasn't happened in a while, but I'm glad to know that I'm not alone here.
