unusual swelling

I have a strainge problem that stated yesterday.
To start with I have always had a poofy stomach but since the surgery 13 weeks ago the swelling hasn't seemed to go down a whole lot. Saturday night I started having some crampy pains in my right side then yesterday when I was sitting at my desk at work I looked down to see that I was really swollen just on my right side.
I called the dr office and spoke with the patient educator which has been really good about getting me appointments really fast. Doc is gone to Hawii for the week and is already way over booked for Mon. He only sees patients in his office on Mon and Fri. Another nurse has taken over scheduling appointments now so I'm waiting on her to call me back to see if I can see him or the other dr that is filling in for him or if I need to see my reg gyn. I hope I haven't torn something loose or ruptured anything. It doesn't hurt to bad it's just really uncomfortable. If I were swollen all over it wouldn't have me as worried but this is too weird. I look like I'm half pregnant (if there is such a thing).
Has anyone else ever been swollen just on one side or am I the only weird one?

I didn't experience what you are, but that doesn't mean you're the only one. I hope you are able to see your doctor soon or go to the ER. It's better to be safe than sorry. Please let us know how you're doing, ok?
